Privacy statement

How personal information is handled when you use this guide.

Who is responsible

Skreenz Travel Media B.V., Bloembinderspark 59, 2161 XR Lisse, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 90457021. VAT: NL865322235B01. Email: info@skreenz.nl. Skreenz is the controller for personal data it processes for this website and correspondence.

Data used to provide the website

Requests to our hosting and security services can include your IP address, requested page, browser information, request time and security diagnostics. These are used to deliver the site and protect it against abuse, based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure service. This version has no newsletter, account registration or booking form. Optional analytics is described below.

Optional YouTube videos

YouTube players load by default unless you have rejected optional cookies. We use the youtube-nocookie.com privacy-enhanced player. This means Google receives a request before you have made a cookie choice. Reject optional cookies to unload the player and show a blocked-video notice. Accept optional cookies to restore it. Google Analytics still requires explicit acceptance. Loading it sends Google your IP address, browser/device information and the page origin; playback may involve cookies or similar storage. Your optional-cookie choice is stored for up to 180 days. You may also load or remove an individual video for the current page without changing your Analytics choice. Use Remove YouTube video below the player to stop further embedded playback and unload it. This cannot undo data already sent or delete Google-domain storage; use your browser controls to clear that storage. Google determines its own storage durations and may process data internationally. See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s cookie information. Following the external Watch on YouTube link opens YouTube under its own policies.

Optional Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits and clicks to Tiqets and GetYourGuide. Google receives technical request data and pseudonymous analytics identifiers. Our affiliate_click event records the seller and page paths, not purchase value or a completed booking. We do not send names, email addresses or payment details in these events. Our explicit page and link fields omit URL queries and fragments. Google advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalisation and Google signals are disabled by our tag settings. You can refuse analytics or withdraw consent through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not automatically erase data already collected. Google processes analytics data for the service; see Google’s privacy policy.

When you email us

We receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to answer your enquiry and maintain relevant correspondence, relying on legitimate interests or steps you request before a contract where applicable. Please do not send payment details or sensitive information that is not needed.

Cookies and external bookings

We store your analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days. Google Analytics loads and may set analytics cookies only after you accept. It remains blocked if you refuse or have not chosen. Hosting access and security services may process their own essential session information. Read the cookie statement. External booking sites receive a new request when you follow their links and handle bookings under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your payment details.

Service providers and international processing

Hosting, network security and email providers may process technical or correspondence data to supply their services. The site uses OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure; public visitors do not need an account to read the guides. Processing may take place outside your country. Where legally required, relevant adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards must support international transfers. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your data.

How long information is kept

We keep correspondence while it is needed to handle your request and any relevant follow-up or legal obligation. Technical logs follow the hosting and security providers’ applicable retention settings. Analytics event retention follows the settings in our Google Analytics property; that account setting has not been verified in this website update. Browser choice storage and our configured analytics cookies last up to 180 days. Cookie duration and Google’s server-side data retention are different. Contact us for the retention period relevant to a particular request; platform log durations are not presented here as a fixed number.

Your rights

Depending on the applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact info@skreenz.nl. We may request proportionate identity information and normally respond within one month; legally permitted extensions will be explained.

Complaints and changes

You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or, where applicable, the UK Information Commissioner. We do not use automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects. This statement will be updated when actual processing changes. Last updated: 14 September 2026.
