Check the date as well as the destination
Festive opening hours and transport timetables can differ from an ordinary weekday. Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve need separate checks. We do not promise normal service or free travel on these dates.
Group your stops geographically
Covent Garden, Leicester Square and the West End suit a shared outing. Kew, Hampton Court, Alexandra Palace and Leavesden each need their own travel planning. A centrally advertised ticket does not necessarily mean a central venue.

Book transport packages carefully
A studio package may include entry and a return transfer, or transport only. Check the departure location, check-in time, return service and admission wording. Keep your booking confirmation accessible.
Use current transport information
Consult the Transport for London journey planner and the relevant rail operator. Recheck planned engineering works and accessibility on your travel day. For late events, confirm the final connection before booking.
New Year’s Eve needs extra space
Expect event access arrangements to affect walking routes and stations. Follow the current organiser and transport guidance rather than relying on the route that worked on your last visit.
